Aptly dubbed a “boutique venue”, Bella Via is a little jewel nestled in the heart of downtown Sherwood. Into shabby-chic or historic-modern fusions? This is one to definitely add to your viewing list. Crystal chandeliers, handmade stain-glass window accents, and a bar alcove are all part of the charm of this quaint-church-cum-unique-venue . Warm grays add a neutral backdrop for just about any accent color. A curvy patio – freshly poured on our visit – will provide an Eden-like ceremony space with lush flora and potted flowers. It’s also a lovely space for evening cocktail parties. No skimping on the bridal salon and groom’s room – both with street access for secretive entrances. Bella Via is certainly a feminine venue, but by no means girly.

WHAT TO KNOW
Owner Nicole Foland has painstakingly accommodated for the needs of local event vendors as well as the comfort of her clients. There is a catering kitchen with expansive staging area and street access for loading. They’ll have to maneuver a handful of stairs though. Provided equipment includes warmers and residential refrigeration, but grills and any other necessities will need to be brought in. Tables and chairs are included with rental. There is no on-site parking, but a nearby school lot is usually available for events.
