Thinking of having your wedding on Halloween? This Portland couple embraced the idea and ran with it. Rather than a traditional wedding reception, Travis and Katie threw a party infused with gothic elements that were sexy and fun, yet befitting such an important milestone.
Details included an 8′ x 4′ image backdrop of the 19th century St. Patrick’s Cathedral instead of the usual flowery arch. The color scheme of black, white, and red was classic, yet representative of the Halloween theme. Children were encouraged to arrive in costume and Katie even arranged for a special kids area with skeleton, candy, and traditional Halloween decor. To enhance the festive vibe, the happy couple offered heavy appetizers and signature cocktails place of a sit-down meal with wine.
